Our latest NMJ Bride had a dreamy country wedding in Berry, NSW at Willow Farm. Meet Karen and Lee Djumas. 

 

How did you both meet?

High school 

 

Where & when did you get married - tell us a little bit about your day?

What was the highlight? We got married in Berry, NSW at the most beautiful venue, Willow Farm. As we are from Melbourne, this kept the wedding intimate with close family and friends that allowed us to enjoy a weekend away together. The wedding was relaxed and a whole lot of FUN! We made the most of the day (12pm - 11pm) and Lee and I did our photos before the ceremony so we could enjoy the whole day. Our aim was great good, delicious drinks and a fun atmosphere. We had games; corn toss, connect 4, giant jenga, footy, cricket, beer pong and flip cup... you name it!! This allowed everyone to let their hair down and create an amazing relaxed, fun and love filled vibe. The dance floor and storm that rolled through later in the night that left most of us drenched dancing under the stars was a huge highlight for us!! 

 

Tell us about your rings, what did that process look like?

Lee and I had been talking about getting married for some time (been together for 10 years) so I need to thank Natalie for coming down to Melbourne actually!! I've always had my eye on Natalie's amazing jewellery and when she was in Melbourne, Lee came along to look at her new collection with me. Before we knew it, we managed to sit down with Natalie and the rest is history! 

 

What drew you to Natalie Marie for your wedding pieces? What do your rings mean to you?

I love how fine, elegant and unique they are. For us, the rings are a symbol of our partnership - even when we aren't together, we can look down and be continuously reminded of how lucky we are and how we will always have each other's support and love. Mines also just amazingly beautiful to look at!!
