These hands belong to Elle, our Dispatch Manager and Production Assistant. Originally from Kentucky, Elle moved to Australia just over four years ago. Loved by our team not only for her daily entrance into the studio with a cheery "Morning Y'all!", but also for her bold sense of fashion and kind heart. As the first and last pair of hands to touch your order, get to know Elle below.
Who do these hands belong to?
Elle, Dispatch Manager and Production Assistant.
How long have you been part of the Natalie Marie Jewellery team?
I started working as a part of the retail team almost two years ago and have grown ever since! Now, I am the first and last hands your order passes through before receiving your parcel.
When did you first come across Natalie Marie Jewellery?
I’m actually from Kentucky, so I wasn’t exposed to the magic of NMJ until I moved to Sydney about four years ago!
Describe a typical day for you?
I start most days by FaceTiming with someone in my family or friends back home. I’ll head out to pilates then off to work for the day. Once I’m at the studio, I do a bit of everything! I start production for all the incoming orders, organise parcels for post, handle dispatch for incoming gemstones across our multiple teams, manage the internal logistics for online pieces, and assist with any production needs. Now that it’s summer I'll finish the day by walking home and making a nice early dinner with my partner.
Most treasured piece of jewellery?
My mom’s necklace from when my sister and I were born.
What is your favourite Natalie Marie piece?
I’ve had my eye on the Macie ever since I started!
Where would we find you on the weekend? How do you unwind?
Relaxing! Going to a market, getting a pedicure or hanging out with friends. Oddly enough, I’ve always adored going to the grocery store so I look forward to doing my big shop every Sunday.
Coffee or Tea? How do you take it?
Tea! Peppermint is my go-to any time of the day.
If you could live anywhere else, apart from Sydney, where would it be?
I spent 6 months living in Florence, Italy and would love to go back.
If you were not working at NMJ, what would you be doing?
Building my artwork and traveling the world.
