WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU CAN ACHIEVE

We’re seeking a dedicated Retail Assistant to join our team. You’ll help us to deliver positive and memorable customer experiences from our beautiful showroom in Avalon.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting with showroom daily set up, merchandising stock, ensuring stock remains clean and well presented.
  • Maintaining stock levels, topping up stock that has been sold from excess stock.
  • Keeping the showroom and studio looking presentable and clean.
  • Front of house retail duties - assisting walk in clientele, assisting appointment clients with refreshments, and showing them to their room.
  • Providing a nurturing and positive retail experience for all clients from start to finish. This is to include: Creating a relaxed and calm environment for all, offering beverages upon arrival, assisting with product information, selling product in a natural and organic way, with the pace set by the client, upon selling; ensure packaging and transaction is processed with great care and attention to detail.
  • Answering telephone, receiving parcels.
  • Checking the calendar daily to understand expected appointments and pick-ups for the day. Booking in appointments as required and updating the studio calendar. Preparing showroom and consultation rooms for appointments, assisting with bespoke consultations, if need be, by pulling product from the shop floor if a bespoke consultation is in process.
  • Packing away showroom stock at end of day, assisting with security and daily closure.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL POSSESS
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of presentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Retail experience preferred.
