This work reflects on the quiet reassurance of words held close. Soft green marks drift across a pale blush ground, their irregular shapes lending a gentle rhythm to the composition. Faint white lettering sits within the surface, revealing itself slowly, like a familiar sentiment recalled in fragments.

The delicate contrast invites a closer, more patient encounter. There is a tenderness in what remains partly concealed, suggesting the private language of affection and the comfort of knowing something without needing to see it clearly. In its softness, the painting offers a moment of stillness, allowing feeling to emerge through colour, repetition and the spaces between.
