This work reflects on the intimacy of the morning table, a familiar space where the day begins through small acts of nourishment and care. Against a warm pink ground, fruit, a small cup and delicate vessels gather in a loosely arranged still life. Curling white lines and touches of blue lend the composition a gentle movement, suggesting the haziness of waking before the world comes fully into focus.

There is a quiet affection in the attention given to these everyday objects. Their imperfect forms hold a sense of ease, inviting us to linger within a moment that might otherwise pass unnoticed. The painting considers how simple rituals can offer continuity and comfort, grounding us in the familiar as another day unfolds.
