#NMJWorldwide | Meet No.3 & Concrete + Water

As we may have mentioned once or twice (we can’t help it, we’re very excited!!!) the Natalie Marie bespoke team is ‘popping in’ to two amazing stores in San Francisco and New York this September. We sat down with our fantastic retail partners No.3 in San Fran and Concrete and Water in New York to find out more about what has inspired their stores, what they love most about their location and why they decided to partner with us on our first ever pop in experience.

No.3

Where is your store located? Tell us about the area and what you love about it.

We are located in the picturesque neighborhood of Russian Hill in San Francisco. We’re neighbours with some of the most iconic architecture in all of the city, and perch atop some of the steepest hills! We love what a destination the shop has become, and how many of our clients get to be tourists in their own town when they come to see us.

How long have you been open for? What inspired the store?

The shop has been open for 6 years, but we recently moved into our new location just 5 months ago. I’ve long been working with new and emerging jewellers and designers whose work is rich with story and origin. I think the right location (and size!) is important in sharing the story that makes each piece so special.

What do you love the most about your store?

I’ve always loved how relaxed we are about what we do at No3. Buying jewellery can be an intimidating journey so we pride ourselves in being open and honest and allowing our clients to feel comfortable in their purchases. We also love alternative bridal and engagement jewellery, and celebrate all things non-traditional. You can definitely feel the vibe right as you step into the shop!

We’re so excited to work with you on our first ever San Fran ‘pop in’, what was it that drew you to Natalie Marie and excited you about the partnership?

I’m a fan of Natalie Marie’s work and love her delicate settings with big, bold stones. It’s exciting to be able to have Natalie here in San Francisco and share her work with clients that would normally have to travel afar or purchase online. We can’t wait to see it all in person!

Concrete and Water

Where is your store located? Tell us about the area and what you love about it.

We are located in the heart of Northside Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We've lived around this area for nearly ten years and it just feels like home. We love the area for a lot of reasons, but most importantly - it's the people. Williamsburg residents are young, creative, fun, and know what they like. We feel lucky to have the support we do from the neighborhood.

How long have you been open for? What inspired the store?

We will celebrate our 5 year anniversary in October this year! We opened the store because we believed the neighborhood needed another shop that curated independent, high quality clothing and home goods that was accessible and fun. Shopping should be a good time, and stores like ours should feel open to everyone - not just those who know fashion or have tons of money. The experience of walking in on a beautiful boutique shouldn't be exclusive and we really wanted our store to feel welcoming to all.

What do you love the most about your store?

The clothes are pretty great! But more than that – it’s the atmosphere. On a beautiful summer day when the doors are open and the breeze is blowing through the store and the sun is coming down through the skylights – it’s pretty hard to beat. It’s a wonderful place to work, and to shop.

We’re so excited to work with you on our first ever NYC ‘pop in’, what was it that drew you to Natalie Marie and excited you about the partnership?

We are so excited to explore a category like fine jewelry that we don't usually get to bring into the store, and especially with a following like Natalie Marie. It’s exciting for us to bring new things like this to our customers and see how they react. Natalie Marie's jewellery is so beautiful that it felt like a no brainer to work together. Can't wait!
