A popular entry-level metal for those drawn to a contemporary aesthetic, we harness our 100 per cent recycled Australian Sterling Silver for statement designs, rather than lifetime wear pieces.
Natalie Marie Jewellery’s Sterling Silver is strictly nickel-free, ensuring it’s suitability for those with nickel allergies or irritations.

Yellow Gold

A classic and timeless metal, yellow gold is revered for its rich, vibrant hue. Courtesy of its warm and luxurious appearance, many cultures historically imagined gold to represent the sun, and its durability makes it a preferred material for ceremonial pieces.
70 per cent of the gold that we use in our creations is recycled Australian gold, with just 30 per cent newly mined. Of the latter figure, 86 per cent is confirmed as Australian mined, and the remaining 14 per cent is blended. We harness this blended portion predominantly for our clasps, earring backs and findings.

An alloy of gold and copper, Rose Gold is recognisable for its warm, peach-toned hue that complements a vast range of skin tones and designs. An uniquely coloured metal, existing somewhere between white gold’s stark brilliance and yellow gold’s classicism, Rose Gold is a romantic option for engagement and ceremonial styles.
The Rose Gold used for our creations is 70 per cent is recycled Australian gold, with 30 per cent newly mined. Of the latter, 86 per cent is confirmed Australian mined, the remaining being blended (used for clasps, earring backs, findings etc).

NMJ pieces are mindfully handcrafted, predominantly in our in house Sydney studio. We pride ourselves on creating not only a safe and healthy working environment for our team of jewellers, but also a nurturing and supportive platform for their growth as jewellers and professionals in their field.

We encourage and support skill development and personal growth with a focus on creating a positive and enjoyable workspace. Using hand tools as opposed to heavy machinery lessens our carbon footprint, while selecting non toxic compounds for use in the studio reduces our environmental impact.

We have recently partnered with accredited facilities both in Sydney and overseas to facilitate the expansion of our production to meet a growing demand, while we work on building out our own team to facilitate this in house. You can read more about our manufacturing avenues here.

The inspiration behind Anam Cara

In Celtic traditions, the Love Knot is referred to as ‘Anam Cara’, a name derived from the Gaelic phrase meaning “soul friend”.

Love Knot jewellery has a profound and emotional legacy, and when we approached crafting a new collection of everyday pieces – inspired by the deep and unceasing connection shared between two people – we felt it was the right time to make our mark on the symbol.

Our Anam Cara collection heroes the Love Knot motif. Formed with a continuous piece of metal with no definitive start or end, it serves as an ode to our soul friends: those who occupy the most sacred and special parts of our lives, who read us like stories they know by heart.

Each of the collection’s nine pieces (and knots) are crafted by hand; a complex process that requires incredible attention detail. This process ensures each creation is as unique as the next – a testament to the inimitability of the relationships we hold most dear.
